PREMIUM TORRETTA 2009
The competition, organized in collaboration with the University of Genoa, Prof. Paola Girdinio, Dean Faculty of Engineering, is now in its sixth edition and is aimed at graduates in Engineering and Environmental Engineering, with the objective contribute to raising young people’s drive to combine science, technology innovation and industry with a view to relaunching the territory and Savona in Liguria in general, from its birth until now has been allocated approximately € 30,000 in contributions.
This initiative, more properly called “service” in terms Lions, is one of the many activities sponsored by the Lions Club Savona Torretta for the benefit of schools of all levels and into the broader framework of assistance and volunteer work that Club in their support of arts, culture and gender of those most in need.
At the awards ceremony, which will present many local authorities are also encouraged citizens Savona, in order to promote greater knowledge and awareness of the presence of the Savona Campus, in the development of our territory.
This year the thesis submitted by the winning students were characterized by high scientific value, this is a source of pride and will cause further delivery of the five Awards of Science, amounting to 4,500 euro in total, results in an event of great interest and satisfaction.
